E-Rock - granite gripper

Friday night we went out with Troy and Becca. I tried to

convince them to go to Arabic night at some club down town,

but they weren't havin' it. So the only alternative? bowling!

In case you didn't know Kimberly is a secret pro; winning

50% of games played or bowled or whatever.

Yesterday we drove with mom to meet the Johnson family

at Enchanted rock. they we're all competing in a rock climbing

comp called the Granite Gripper. We hiked up and down and all

around but no actual "rock climbing" so to spell.

Ret got 1st place in her division! winning all kinds of things mom

couldn't understand on the phone (we split way before the ceremonies

started)...

Kimberly got mad at me and wouldn't come down from

this rock. Bad choice of escape rocks if you ask me.

No where to go.

After summiting E rock we hung with the kiddos for a bit.

Then PJ took us back to the top for a little cave exploring.

This photo is actually pretty deep in the cave. I told everyone

to turn off their lights for a photo, but we ended up with a

"see no evil" cyclops pic. the spelunking crew...

I spotted this little bat hanging on one of the walls.

How the hell are you supposed to aim the camera

in the dark? I couldn't tell what the camera was focusing

on...so you get a blurry bat pic.
