We did the yearly migration to Colorado for Christmas....
Not much snow on the ground but good times all around.
We showed up Tuesday night just in time for the X-mas party,
I think I enjoyed the Cajun Christmas story the best. A must
for any Christmas story. Tons of good food and family.

Christmas eve we did the annual movie, lunch, party...
The lunch crew. I think only half made it to the movie and
no one made it to the movie on time.

The girls are always down to business.
Someone needs to remind these girls that we are on vacation!

Puzzle business is OK with me.

See.

Also, I got to drive my truck for the second time this year!
Thanks to all for the laughs, the memories and the gifts!
I think Big D scored biggest with the headlights ball cap
(or whatever you call it).
OK other non-christmas notes:
Hey Suz, have you played PJ ''Mr. Bass''?
I'm not sure who put the video up but it's the right song.
Also, Yo Mom I want to see a few picks of the chickens!
(My Mom has 6 or 7 chickens)
Did you know the color of a chicken's egg is determined by the
color of the chicken's feet?

Christmas already

X-mas has just been popping up the past few years. I can't
believe we're leaving for Denver in a couple of hours.

I thought Thanksgiving was last week?

Oh-yeah last week was lake Tahoe.

Not much snow, but managed a day at heavenly and a day
at mammoth. Can't wait to go back when there is some
snow on the ground. The condo was bad ass though, if there
was any snow we could have rode in and out of the condo.

K won a texas holdem tournament! the final 3 players all
split the cash! L,E&I all made it pretty far in the tournament too...

OK, it's updated. Now it'll be another week....at least.

Happy Holidays!

Thanksgiving Weekend

After all kinds of flights and layovers I made it to Texas & back
this thanksgiving. I'm thankful for my family being able to come
together to make my quick holiday travels super easy and super fun.

This thanksgiving can be summed up with two words: tree climbing.
I think we logged more hours in the trees than anywhere else.
We climbed trees at the park, trees at the house and played climb
the cy-tree.

The park tree....almost too high for comfort. All the other kids
at the park we're super jealous, and their parents not too happy.
They begged their parents to let them climb the tree too.
One brave dad gave in and gave it a slow attempt...
with much coaching from P, D and me.

The tree at the house. I taught R how to run up this one.

When we ran out of trees to climb, we hit up the jungle jim
or whatever this thing is called....

Big sis spent the entire time in the kitchen. The only way
you could talk to this girl was if you were in the kitchen too.
The kids have a couple light sabers so you know we had to
battle it out once. Even the battle took place in the kitchen.
I'm not sure you can declare victory of that one sis.

My niece and nephew are the cuttest!

All in all, the trip was a whirl wind. This is me breaking all the
rules; trying to explain to C what a whirl wind is.

K doesn't have any pictures of her family festivities so I don't
believe anything fun actually happened. I told her to give me
some pictures and I can make up captions but I have yet to
see any pics, and you don't want me to just start making up
stuff. You brought me back potatoes? what is this?
Where's my cinnamon rolls damn it?!
I want some cinnamon goodness! with icing.
