Dog sitting & diapers...

We're watching a friends dog for a couple of days and picked up the cute little wiener last night on our way home from snowboarding (yeah we got day 1 in yesterday!).  

Turns out this little girl likes to pee when you pet her...  She doesn't do it as much after the first hour but.... Anywho K left to work today and said the dog has diapers if I really feel the need.

 I asked "are there instructions?"

K: "there diapers, and go on easy like diapers".

I just took a look at the "diapers".

These are not diapers.  And they don't stick. 

You gotta be kidding me:

 

She is super cute tho and one of the best trained dogs I've watched. Love playing dead, "bang!"

Other things we did this past year.  Not in order of the pictures and nor are the pictures in order!

We went to Vegas for a WSP concert

We went to CO for a Rod Gab concert and magically ran into G there!  Also took Aunt A with us!

We drove to Texas to stay at Fort Davis.  We stayed in rooms this time!  Rode horses ALL. DAY. LONG. The most challenging day on a horse ever!  On the way we stopped and stayed a night at Rock Hounds state park in NM.

We went to VA to see cousin J!

More happenings

We made it up to Austin and saw practically everyone we know!

Alone with the niece and nephew but don't call it babysitting!

We also had a bike-a-Thon.

And we ended our ride here with love!

Not all of us were sharing the love at this point! Tired, exhausted and ready to go in another candy store.

Big sis gave me a hard time this week for not updating the blog often. And an even harder time for saying ill post pictures soon and never following up on it.  Super funny to hear her deleting the photos P posts and to hear K chime in that she will actually post a post!

Parrots and stuff

Another crazy couple of weeks for us with non-stop action.  The future looks to be the same all the way to October!

Friday night I totally double booked us. We were supposed to be going out to an art/wine thing with A&S but a co-worker came into town and I thought dinner at the house was a good idea.  Luckily everyone was game and we had a blast making spring rolls!  *If you don't know; ever since mom came to visit we have been eating (living really) off spring rolls. averaging 4 nights a week at least!  Those things are so yummy and all i have to do is run into the garden to grab fresh veggies and dinner is served. pretty rad.*
I digress...
Dinner some how turned into a block party.  Neighbors and kids in our driveway, silly string, dogs, and then Chinese lanterns.  Glad to report no fires were started!

Parrots are crazy and do crazy stuff.  Especially when they are waiting on the neighbor to go back inside so they can eat more almonds off his tree!  

Fun times.

3 year anniversary tree!

Last week we celebrated our 3rd year of marriage and continued our tradition of planting a fruit tree!  This year was a plumb.  It started off with 5 plumbs on it but by the time it made it home it only had 3; the magic number!  

Ill tell you what, it's the coolest thing to think about is that in 10 years from now people will still be able to enjoy all this fruit.  

Tangerine, apples and now plumbs.  Can't wait to see what the next 60 trees will be!

End o April - Mid o May

It's tough to tell what day it is lately...It's more like who is coming over/staying with us and/or where are we scheduled to be???  So I've decided to make this a group blog post to cover all the recent happenings.

From Puerto Rico to Georgia to Catalina Island and visitors from Virginia to Texas to Arizona, wow.  Quick recap:  I went to PR for work, cousins J&C came to visit, Uncle V, Aunt J and cousins M&D came to visit, GA for work, Mom just left, and coming today is Uncle D and cousin Z then Mom L tomorrow & EJ at the end of the month.  If that's not a mouth full i'm not sure what it?!
