every day (minus the first 2 months we moved here). yesterday
was a little warm (mid 80's) but today it's back to the mid 70's;
without a cloud in the sky.
Another Bakhtiari?
No Kim's not pregnant. I just read that the Charges picked up
a guy from SDSU or some other nearby college...Eric Bakhtiari.
..looks like I'm gonna have to get me one of those jerseys...

or white shark that. too bad it's not keeping the tourists
off the beach, it might have actually attracted more
people to the beach...imagine that. new marketing technique:
scare them into the restaurant....all you can eat shark!
what a nice a relaxing weekend. spent some quality time
on the beach, some poker and naps on the couch. yesterday
during one of our community games the parrots landed
on the power line and went to town. i'll post some video
as soon as i edit it.
the neighbor kids managed to plant a tree this weekend.
all smiles around this hood

Earth Day
for E-Day? I bet not...it usually takes a religious holiday (or maybe only
christian religious holiday) or president's birthday or whatever for that.
So what did you do to help our planet on this earth day??? We admittedly
didn't do much...maybe conserved some water by not taking a shower,
not doing dishes or any other chore that required water for that matter.
I've got a FrankenBaby...oh...her neck...her neck and her back...
She slept wrong and reaggravated her injury. Bad enough to only
work 1/2 day yesterday. Today didn't look much better...well to
rephrase...she looks great, but feels bad...
HERE-YE HERE-YE
WE HAVE AN OFFICIAL OREGON UPDATE:
WE'RE NOT GOING.
AT LEAST NOT YET.
JUST CHECK WITH US ON DATES BEFORE GETTING AIR TICKETS...

wakeup call...
a 8am appointment with us to fix our old window. We
had a window that was broken in half...every time we locked
ourselves out (or at least all the times K locked us out!) I had
to separate the glass and break in. Sorry bad dudes it just got fixed.
BUT the window guys showed up an hour early. They must have
woke up the entire block cutting out the old window.
Anywho now we have some new badass window that opens from the
top, the bottom or can even be taken out all together...fancy shmancy

to good for a title
Even blurry and covered with bug smudge it's beautiful...
Went surfing in the morning and K is starting to rip it up. Improvement
with every session...too bad conditions have been such that the session
count is still pretty low.
It got a little cloudy and cool this afternoon...so we decided to head inland
to the wild animal park. Supper cool. Even watched my baby hatch...
It doesn't matter which park you go to...(wild animal, zoo or seaworld)
they all have the most beautiful flowers and vegetation. Check out the
buds on this plant...
Kimberly thought I was being so obnoxious that she wanted to compare
me to the apes...
The wild animal park has something for everyone...out cold.
The most Important rule when visiting the wild animal park:
keep one eye on the map and one eye on the cyrus

cops and robbers
On the beautiful note: It's another beautiful day in Southern California.
The sun is shining and the waves are firing...too bad I'm stuck working...
this pick is from our morning walk to the beach. I wish I had a pick of my
beautiful to add too, but no recent photos...
This helicopter flew overhead for about an hour today talking about a bank
robbery that just happened...suspect wearing black jacket...baseball cap...
next thing you know my neighbor walks by. Perfect Fit. Super funny.

quote of the day
"Love is not some fragile flower,
it's one that breaks the sidewalk just to bloom."
-Nathan Moore, Surprise Me Mr. Davis
one year ago...yesterday
This pick is probably in the blogger archives, but for lack of better
photos, I thought I would go ahead and post it again.
Wow, I just got out of the water...I must say Californians are much tougher than Wyomingites. In California they won't try to kick your ass in a bar (at least not in OB), but they will try to in the water. I don't think I look like a tough guy, but lately I just don't know what the deal is. kook: "don't make me kick your ass"..." me:"trust me dude, I won't" kook: "next time you better respect or we'll be playing the dunkin game" me: "next time?" So you know I snaked him again on the next chance I got...geek. With that said I still have a shit eatin grin from the waves I caught. It was pretty epic out there.
On happier notes: we've been catching up on some much needed sleep. Almost went to the Padres/Rockies game last night...good thing we didn't because the Rockies got there asses kicked! Hopefully they at least win one while in town.

surf wyoming
for my Grandma Betty's funeral. It was beautiful, and there was
a great turnout. It was so much fun to see the family I haven't seen in 17
years...17 + years less aunt Andi and family. Now that's ridiculous.
People have a lot of kids in 17 years and there must have been 10 cousins
I have never met and everyone else only knew me when I was a "snot nosed
brat"...aah the memories....well they still know me!
This is a pick of my Mom and her siblings (less aunt Lizzy). I used aunt
Lizzy's house as a base camp and ended up without a singe picture of her.
This is a good chunk of the cousins...
And this is the result of me (cousins and 1/2 uncle)...they were all
reluctant at first but this is my favorite picture of the weekend!
???
I had so much fun playing with the cousins...from chillin' to fightin'
to ticklin'...Plans are already in the works for some more cousin fun...
Ha ha ha, I almost forgot...I was telling K about WYO and it was pretty
funny...I think the quote was something like...I now know why I've always
thought Tx is kinda liberal...it's because I'm from Wyoming!
I miss you all already.

p2
i like saying things three times...probably
from watching all those damn disney cartoons.
we went to the zoo yesterday morning and it
was super cool. we were some of the first in
the park (bypassing the lines with our member
cards!) and all of the animals were out and about.
Mornings are feeding time at the zoo so everyone
was grubbing...we took a lot of great photos that
I'm too lazy to show you.
also the neighbors wouldn't leave us alone yesterday...
is it poker time yet, now? now? now? so Kimberly
shut em up by winning BOTH games. I think she must
have racked in 75 bucks this weekend!!! anyone want
to sponsor her for the world poker tour??? I'm going
to have to put up one of those donation links on the site
(like Suzy's MS150 donation link)!
now it's time to plan the trip to Wyoming....when is the
last time i was in my homeland? hummmmm

poker star
reduced our bike price by about 25 bucks. well this weekend
K is at it again...we had a huge game last night with over half
of the complex in attendance. K showed those boys whats up
and took home the gold! Not sure what discounted item
we're going to buy today! thanks neighbor friends and their friends!
Kim needs some advice so we're off to talk to the monkeys today...
Maybe she'll even ask the turtles...thanks to these great zoo
memberships we have she can ask em' all.
Oh Suz, oh Suz, oh Suz...Kim's making this little bro b nice...
We hope you feel better soon!

Kabaabe Joojeh
K got a raise! Not to mention all kinds of
Oregon fun! that we'll talk about later...I'm so good
I anticipated her raise and marinated some chicken
Tuesday. Last night we had some bad ass kabobs...
Good enough for her to keep saying "I can't believe
you haven't made these yet!" and some cheesecake
that I learned to make the day before too...
On a lighter note, I finally beat K in a round of golf yesterday
after work! Musta been one of our best rounds yet...2 pars for
me and 1 for K.

The Oregon Trail...
this has been the absolute worst week of surf in the
months we have lived here. which isn't necessarily a
bad thing because we are finally able to get some stuff
done around the house.
found a cool website: http://www.sundiego.com/surf_cams_ob.php
it's a surfcam for our beach, but you can control it. zoom in/out look
up down all around...pretty cool
