week in review

This week the screen on my laptop decided it didn't like it's casing
too much so it broke the mold. Now its a laptop desktop. bummer.
What good is a laptop if the screen won't close? So after talking
to six different managers in India, I still don't know what's going on.
But it is under warranty and HP said they will fix it, I just have to
mail it to them for at least 2 weeks. WTF. Dos XX. F.
Next time you purchase a laptop you better check out the
hinges or you to could be saying WTF. F.
Now work has to mail me my old tower so I can mail this
POS off. How do you mail a laptop if the screen won't close???

Also showing this week...Kimberly did a ride out with Mom.

Kimberlys rumination...

A somewhat calm Wednesday night on the ambulance was
a great learning experience! Cheryl and her EMS partner,
Mark, showed me around the fire station and then put me in
the back of the shinny, new, yellow ambulance to respond to
a call. With headphones on, (so I could hear the dialogue up
front and the info on where we were headed) I watched out
the back window as we headed quickly down the streets of
Austin. Our first call was a drunk homeless man (pretty
common in Austin), followed by a couple small car wrecks
and a crazy man. And no blood. Just a ton of paperwork! I
headed home happy, thinking about how lucky we all are to
have such caring, skilled people just a phone call away.

See we ended on a happy note!
